Who are we?

Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. 

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. This is known as 'opting-in' 

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future. 

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

• address 
• phone number 
• email address 
• credit/debit card details 

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. 

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. 

The information we collect and how we use it
We gather information to allow us to process your registration and facilitate the purchase procedure. The relevant information is then used to maximise the effectiveness of our services, and to increase the speed with which transactions are conducted. 

We will not provide, sell, barter or trade any information about you to/with any third parties. 

If you do not want to receive any promotional material please send us an email to newtech@ntlabs.co.uk and inform us of your request. Any promotional e-mails sent to you will also contain specific opt-out instructions for your convenience. 

Your consent
By submitting your information you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page. We may also email you so that you may consent to our use of your information in that way. Continued use of the service will signify that you agree to any such changes.

Distance Selling Directive 
The European Commission has issued the "Distance Selling Directive", which applies to business-to-customer contracts and is intended to protect online shoppers and provide a level playing field on which businesses can compete. 

We fully comply with this directive, and here would like to state the key-points of your rights as a consumer.

The main characteristics of our goods : Every item for sale at www.ntlabs.co.uk is pictured and described with as much detail as possible. If required, further information can always be supplied by contacting N T Laboratories Ltd. 

The price includes all taxes: All items for sale are clearly priced. Where applicable, all prices include VAT at the prevailing UK rate. 

A written confirmation of the order: After an order has been placed you will receive confirmation by email. 

Cancelling your order: You can cancel an order by telephoning, faxing or emailing us - stating your order reference information. We generally ship goods within one working day of receipt of your order. Once the goods have been shipped you may still return them to us under our returns policy which is shown in full below. 

After-sales service and warranty: If, for any reason, any of our products do not reach you in good condition, we will happily replace or refund the items concerned under the terms of our guarantee - see below for full details. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Shopping
Please browse through our online shop and add any items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. When you have completed your selections click on "checkout" and you will be asked for some details to complete the ordering process. 

Shipping Charges
We currently charge £5.50 (inc. VAT) for all orders to mainland United Kingdom. This charge is per order and not per item. You will save on these charges buy ordering multiple items in one order. This charge is subject to change without notice. 

For locations outside mainland United Kingdom,including The Isle of Man , Isle of Wight , Channel Isles please email us at overseas@ntlabs.co.ukwith your full address details and the items you wish to order and we will email you with the applicable charges for your acceptance before we process your order. Do not order via the website.

Payment
Credit Card payment for items available from stock will be taken immediately on receipt of an order. Barring exceptional circumstances, such as adverse weather or any other situation beyond our control, stock items will typically be shipped within one working day from time of payment being received. 

Orders for items not in stock at time of ordering will be held, and payment will not be taken (i.e. your credit/debit card will NOT be charged) until such time as the items are available to ship to the customer under the same terms as for goods available from stock. 

On receipt of an order for an item out of stock, we will inform the customer as soon as is reasonably possible, at that time the customer may choose to cancel their order without penalty. 

Items out of stock will typically reach you within 28 days from date of order. 

Delivery Times
Most items for mainland United Kingdom typically are sent via parcel carrier, require a signature upon delivery, and are delivered usually within three (3) working days. In some instances, depending on product size/weight, they may be delivered by Royal Mail. 

Delivery times for locations outside mainland United Kingdom are dependent on the destination and where possible, will be advised accordingly. 

Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with any of our products they may be returned within 14 days for a full refund of the purchase price (not including any carriage charges). The product must be in its original packaging, any seals must be unbroken and include all original packaging materials. We are unable to refund for damaged or used items. 

Cancellation
We offer a seven (7) day cooling off period from the date of receipt of your goods in which you may cancel your order and return the goods to us in an unopened condition for refund of the cost of the goods. Return shipping costs are at your own expense.
