The History of NT Labs

New Technology Ltd founded in 1976 with a range of products for marine aquariums. Freshwater andpond products were added shortly afterwards together with Artemia Revolution which was the world's first commercially available decapsulated Brine Shrimp product. NT Laboratories (NT Labs) was founded in 1982 Aquality Springfield having taken over the New Technology range of products quickly introducing more new and innovative products to the aquatics market becoming NT Laboratories Ltd. The innovative and progressive stance the company continues to adopt today quickly put NT Labs on the map, supported with industry publications and awards it was not long before the product portfolio grew along with the company and industry into what NT Labs represents today. Below are a few press cuttings and histioric years that defined the company progress.

1979 Supplyed the UK market with Artemia Revolution.

1982 Pet Product Marketing, October issue Aquazorb.

1982 The introduction of the very first Barley Straw pouch to remove Algae and Blanketweed.

1985 The first twin neck dispenser bottle for packaging and applying pond treatments - Eradick, Bacterad and Aquaclear.

1997 The introduction of automated packing machine "Daisy" for Barley Straw Pounches.
